Recently, I have been thinking about what really makes my job as a Recruitment to Recruitment Consultant more enjoyable. It’s simple – Candidate Exclusivity. When I work with candidates exclusively it enables me to perform better. If you have ever worked with a Rec to Rec agency, have you ever considered why it might be better to do so on an exclusive basis? If not, here is my case for it.
It is all about you!
When the Recruitment to Recruitment Consultant knows that (as a candidate) you are working exclusively with them, they become purely focused on you and your ambitions and objectives. This establishes an intensified partnership between you and your Rec to Rec consultant. In return for your exclusivity, your Recruitment to Recruitment partner will indisputably go above and beyond your expectations in their efforts to find you a new role within Recruitment or Executive Search.

The partnership with your Recruitment to Recruitment Consultant will blossom as time moves on. This means that the Rec to Rec will come to fully understand your true motivations and real drivers. They will learn quickly what type of role is going to appeal to you and the kind of people that you will enjoy working with and vice versa. All the important stuff. Once you have started an interview process and are fully engaged in providing and receiving feedback with your Rec to Rec they will be able to help you achieve your goals in less time that if you were to work with multiple Recruitment to Recruitment agencies. Trust them to get to know you and it will pay dividends in the end.
Quality over quantity
As a candidate everyone is different. People’s needs often dictate how quickly a process needs to be turned around – but even when working at a pace a Rec to Rec Consultant can provide a quality service. The Rec to Rec that has your exclusivity will be able to properly advise you about the best move for your career from a consultative angle, rather than it having to be a race to the finish with another Rec to Rec.
